I've downloaded the Windows Server 2016 Datacenter Evaluation edition, and also the full version through Microsoft Imagine (Educational account).
I have updated the BIOS to the most current version released by ASUS and also confirmed all drivers are up to date. MB: ASUS P6T Deluxe V2, CPU: Intel Core i7 920, RAM: Dual 16GB DDR3 running 2138, VGA: GeForce GTX 660, Drives: 1 Intel SSD, 2 WD HDD Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Sorry if this is a bit lengthy but I'm hoping to provide as many detailsĮrror: Windows cannot install required files. I know there are a million posts about this particular error when attempting to install a Windows Operating System but I just can't seem to find any suggestions to solve this issue.
